The workshop on "in-silico drug discovery & designing" was a well-organized event. It was a good experience for the beginners in this area of research, as the contents as well as the delivery-mode were sufficient to kindle a lot of interest in the new-comers. However, I'd like to say that two days are slightly too less to comprehend the subject in its entirety. It would be good if the workshop could be stretched to a longer duration and the things are covered in slight more details.

I had some basic knowledge about docking. But I didn't know how to make pdb structure of ligand. Also in workshop I learnt how to detect H-bond between Ligand and the protein molecule. Also Learnt how set docking parameters around a single residue. overall I feel that I have learnt a lot from the workshop. Hope that in future if I have any query then organiser will be help in sorting out my problem.

Thanks to BioDiscovery group for the program. The training was good and explanatory. I believe that I learned basics of molecular dynamics simulations using VMD/NAMD. The trainer is very good. But the methodology/protocol given is very rigid. Some steps are not clear. I cannot apply for all. Anyway now I am confident and thanks once again

I'm satisfied with the workshop. The host was cooperative and diligently attended to all my queries. We did face some difficulties due to server error for which no one can be blamed for but we somehow made it. I feel like I learned something so I think the money spent was worth it. I have some suggestions: Please do mention the pre-requisite knowledge about the workshop. As a 1st year Undergraduate student, I had trouble initially understanding some complex models like the ramachandran plot, dihedral torsion angles, etc, thus it would be good for other students to prepare in advance before the commencement of the workshop. Overall I'm content :)

sincere and grantful thanks to biodiscovery research academy who made us to know some steps about the role of bioinformatics in the field of drug discovery and for guiding us throughout the training. But we are not fully satisfied with the training. Some modules which have been listed in website are not taught to us.peoples had not have an idea where the molecules and minimised pdb files are chosen. If this all been fulfilled for us we would like to gain more training and more knowledge about our bioinformatics in biodiscovery. I completed a two month training in computational aided drug designing. I got to learn protein optimization and energy minimization which can further aid me in my higher education.
