I am from Sree Sastha Institute of Engineering and Technology. We came to know about the idea behind drug designing and learned a lot.

Great workshop!! Got hands on experience of Drug Discovery technologies in a structured manner that I was looking for. A little bit more on why we are doing some steps and the science acting behind it would have been an add on. Overall a fulfilling experience

One of the most simple and best workshops I have attended. We were given plenty of opportunities to try out the methods immediately. This practical aspect helped me clarify my doubts and also got valuable input from other participants. Wonderful event, I???m happy to have been part of it.

Workshop was definitely a nice platform for me to learn something that I was aware of but never tried it out.. Bioinformatics was always a strange and not so known topic for me but now I can think of working on it too. All the software are just too user friendly and thanks Bio Discovery and AIIMS for such a helping hand.. looking forward for more workshops and study material for this drug designing one too. The workshop was good... I'd say you did teach well... But time management is what you need to practise efficiently... The staff was late on day 2, students were called at 9 to sort out there doubts but none of your staff showed up till 10:30. All in all a great experience.. But with proper time management more things could have been completed in the stipulated time.

The hard copies were very nice and every steps has been explained very nicely.

Before joining the program I was not acquainted with bionformatics and specially molecular docking and its related aspects. Now, after attending the workshop, I am able to appreciate this field as a new area of research. Also, I would like to undertake a project may be in the next session as right now I am over burdened with my Ph.D course work and other responsibilities in NIT Calicut. Hello. First of all I thank the CEO of BioDiscovery Group, India for conducting the workshop in Tabriz, Iran. I was one of the participants. The only bad thing about the workshop was that it was solely theoretical. Because of time limitation the workshop was performed in three theoretical sections which were interesting and useful but not ideal and complete due to the lack of all requirements of a real workshop. The other thing is that maybe it was better to send some articles and initial information to the participants to become more familiar with the topics and take more benefit from the discussions. I myself had this background but felt that without that it was really hard to understand what is going on there. Thanks again and best regards Delara

I am not expert in this field so my idea will not be comprehensive .This workshop had a good view good for beginner and it was helpful for me to use the software and every things that related to it,but it was not good to answer the professional questions as some student had such question. Also, the time for this kind of workshop was not sufficient. Any way, in spite of the some deficiency, the teacher was good and patiently reply to the answer of the student.

The workshop has given me a good understanding for screening of compounds for drug from scratch. Although I came with close to zero knowledge on drugs and docking and minimal chemistry, I had managed to keep up, thanks to good guidance and a clear work flow. My learning interest is in protein engineering - this workshop goes some way in providing the basics.

The workshop was informative. Most significantly the practical sessions were good, which provided the first hand difficulties in handling the softwares. The last part, i.e. use of Chimera and prediction of ADMET properties, would have been taken more efficiently. Overall it introduced the concepts of drug designing and docking in a significant way.

The 5-days workshop on Drug discovery and Designing was very useful. I have gained an overview about the strategies and steps involved in drug-designing using computational methods. The hands-on training on various software has made me capable to apply these in the research work that I am involved in. The workshop was highly informative and the step-by-step teaching methodology was easy to follow. The content discussed is beneficial and is directly applicable to my current project.

I came to this course due to I realized prediction is needed for my research work due to I will need to screen ligand competitors to be an adjunct-therapy for infectious diseases. After when through so much procedure to obtained such information for test ligand, I think it is now possible for me to do it in my place. Unfortunately, this course only mentioned about known chemical structure, I will need to find another way on how to find my nucleotide sequence structure and docking the nucleotide to the protein of interest.

Really enjoyed the workshop. It was easy to understand each step with efficient hands on and understandable of manual.

Overall was ok, suitable for a beginner who have very limited knowledge on in-silico drug designing like me. I could only suggest that the instructor should explain more on the functions in each software that we use or explain more on the reason why we're using that particular function. Thanks

I found that this workshop is useful for someone like me who lack of basic about the computational stuff. It being conduct step by step and can be easily understood. However, the duration can be shorten up to less than 5 days.

Well-managed program. The speaker allowed the participant to give the ideas and discussed the things that could not be solved on time. Suggestion: The speaker should tell us the steps with the theoretical facts, so that the participants will understand it better without just remembering the command and algorithm. Besides, the instructor also need to prepare the precautions if the technical problems happen during the program for example: to fix the software and hardware problem, how and how. And in all, it was good. Congratulations :)

Liked the 1st day presentation part where I got to hear and ponder about various questions raised by learners from different fields. Of course the workshop was a nice platform to get to know about the pharmaceutical side of chemistry, especially for me who is from a non-bio background.:) Drug designing part was fairly ok but with a lot of manual work like going to the folder again n again and writing the commands but any ways that was the methodology of the software.

This workshop gave me more understand towards the function of autodock in my research study. Besides that, I had opportunities to learn the difference knowledge because all the participants are come from difference background. In addition, drug discovery and technologies can help us to minimize the time taken in searching the suitable drug for the treatment.

Presenter was highly proficient and well dressed. The material was very good and was provided well in advance. The platform was nice. The lectures were nice too although I sensed that the presenter seemed a bit nervous at the beginning of the first session (needlessly). The nice thing about the workshop is that there are projects we can share in afterwards so that it has many applications.

The overall exposure to the different software for designing the appropriate molecules for different target proteins and most importantly the analysis of the complex between ligand and receptor was very good.

Your job for conducting this type of workshop is highly applaudable but registration fee for this workshop is quite high not every student can afford it.

Work shop is quite informative specially regarding steps/procedure for autodock which are provided in very straightforward and easy way. It would be more favourable if such protocol for modeller can also be provided.

The workshop on "in-silico drug discovery & designing" was a well-organized event. It was a good experience for the beginners in this area of research, as the contents as well as the delivery-mode were sufficient to kindle a lot of interest in the new-comers. However, I'd like to say that two days are slightly too less to comprehend the subject in its entirety. It would be good if the workshop could be stretched to a longer duration and the things are covered in slight more details.

Being a student of biomedical engineering, I was so much interested in going in the field of drug designing. So I planned to attend this workshop so that I could explore my knowledge in this field and this workshop was very much helpful to me as I learnt many thing there which could help me in future.

I had some basic knowledge about docking. But I didn't know how to make pdb structure of ligand. Also in workshop I learnt how to detect H-bond between Ligand and the protein molecule. Also Learnt how set docking parameters around a single residue. overall I feel that I have learnt a lot from the workshop. Hope that in future if I have any query then organiser will be help in sorting out my problem.

Valuable experience in field of in-silico drug designing for beginners. The workshop created an interest in field of bioinformatics and gave us options to work in research areas too.Such workshops should be conducted and preferably for longer duration.

It's obviously a good program, and much practical dependent. It helps me to understand protein structure, folding pattern and ligand docking more deeply. I think the course should cover more area and more than 2 days then it will be more helpful for the students and researcher.

It was a good workshop and I learned a lot but the way of teaching was a little fast may be because of less time but I would just say that overall it was good and I gained something from it . I liked the way of teaching of Asif Naqvi sir.

It was one of the most informative workshop I've attended. It encapsulated the essence of in-silico drug designing by providing both theoretical and practical knowledge on the same. As a second year B.Sc(H) Microbiology student it gave me exposure to work upon the creative space in designing drugs against various viral and bacterial diseases. A great experience!

Being a beginner in the field of biotechnology, i learned a lot and my curiosity level has gone much higher. The workshop was amazing although i faced some difficulty in understanding some points due to my course level (2nd year). Waiting to explore much in this field and for some more good experiences ahead!

2 days workshop on practical approach in molecular simulation and dynamics , opened new ideas of research relevant to my research field in virology and cancer,but more practical application on cases studies is required by extending time from 2 days to 5 days this will help trainee to acquire skills in practising on softwares,also another point trainer may need qualified assistant (aware with workshop softwares) to help trainees especially if number of participants more than 15 Otherwise , overall evaluation was great

It was a good learning experience, I would appreciate Mr. Asif's oration skills and patience. Although a lot of informative material was sent prior to workshop I would suggest that in the introduction presentation please add a little discussion on algorithms used in drug design, it would be helpful. I had a great time attending this workshop. It gave me an insight about many different topics and enlightened me on the prospect of Drug Designing. All in All, I benifited a lot from this training, and I'm now more aware of how research studies are conducted. My sincere thanks to the organizers.

The training course was not well not organized. We spent most of day one on resolving some problems with some of participants. It was obvious that most of the participants were not familiar with the basics of Linux and even windows which in turn consumes the time specified for each section, so we didn't finish the schedule of day one and we continue working on that schedule on day 2. Consequently, we didn't spend time on some sections of day2 and in particular those sections concern with analyzing the data we've got, which is the most important part that makes me register to the course. Actually for me, these two days were just like we followed a procedure written in the official NAMD & VMD tutorial, which I can do it on my own! So we follow a procedure that anyone can do using the tutorial, then we got data and we finish without analyzing what we've got! -I think it will better if the training course more than 2 days -The level of the course (Basic, intermediate, etc.) should be specified -The requirements before attending the course should be clearly outlined. The workshop added valuable training, but it needs more organization regarding material preparation and time......it needs much more than two days to fulfill it's objectives and it needs presenting data in sequenced organized way so that someone who has not got a similar training before can benefit..also it is recommended that additional trained instructors help the main instructor especially with the practical part so that we do not waste so much time trying to help each participant with the same instructor.......overall I was so happy to attend the workshop but I expected to get more benefit

I'm basically a toxicologist.i am been involved in only wet lab experiment, this workshop is my first kind in computer association. I really enjoyed participating the workshop, I know little about, drug designing and molecular docking, maybe theory basis, but the workshop started from the basis, gave me the insight of drug designing, gave enough time to do the assigned task. Though I was little slow in the beginning, but urge to learn and know more, kept me in the phase, and finally able to complete the task in stipulated time, I am a faculty, competing with other participants especially students the younger generation was really appealing. Definitely I have learned a lot about drug designing and molecular docking, I was not knowing about the software to perform ADMET, now got to know it. To participate workshop in the workshop was a good experience. The key to a successful practical workshop is an interactive environment, which is what I found at the 5-day workshop on Drug Discovery, hosted at Bangalore University. Under the guidance of the organizer, Mr. Asif Naqvi, we learnt, not just the basics of drug discovery, but also how to use the different software related to it. This is the first workshop I have attended where practical application is given more emphasis to enable us to learn better. I certainly will use my experience, here, for my future projects and research work. I also look forward to more workshops on different tools conducted by the BioDiscovery Group, and recommend anyone and everyone interested in work related to Biological Sciences, to attend these workshops.

This workshop will be helpful for my PhD research work. I have learned a lot of unknown thing in a very easy & practical way. The trainer was very helpful and get to know very well. I wish in future I will get more new thing to learn.

The Workshop that I attended on Structure Biology and Proteomics was very helpful since I got to know and learn about the use of many software and their proper usage in predicting the structure of the proteins. The course instructor (Mr.Yash Singh) was very helpful with all the doubts since this was an online workshop and yet I understood every details and I enjoyed attending this a lot.

Yes, the workshop was very interesting. I am from zoology background and have even no basic knowledge of bioinformatics. So for the students like me the trainer did a good job. I learned a lot. But it also have some lacunae that there is a shortage of time due to which the trainer cant get along the beginners like me with other participants. Best wishes Regards

The workshop is really organize and interested. Because we learned fundamental/basic aspect and detail procedure of molecular dynamic simulation which without such eworkshop one will hardly learn elsewhere. Good learning experience. It would have been even better, if more of step by step explanation could have been provided. Hope to attend more of such workshops in the near future. Overall, it was good.

The workshop was very helpful for my research work. Naqvi sir taught the critical and complecated steps in very easy manner. Now I am confident that I can use these molecular modelling softwares by my own on my laptop at my time. No restrictions, as the softwares provided and taught were freely available. Now I am independent for doing CADD studies.

It was good. Presentation could have been better by explaining in depth regarding cancer and minimize the time consumed during hands on section. Because I believe more work can be done in 2 days.

The workshop was very informative and usefule. The way Naqvi sir taught was very easy to understand. The best thing I found was, hands on training on the free softwares which now we can use anytime by ourselves.

The workshop was highly informative. It not only helped us to see how the software is used as only a demonstration, but we had hands on experience of using them and carrying out real docking and visualising the results. This workshop was great in its own way.

It was one of the best workshop. The faculty & the staff was helping students individually, they are providing you the PPTs, Softwares, Hard copy of each & everything. If you are late you can ask them again, if you didn't understand, they'll come to your desk & help you as per your demand. The atmosphere & arena was mind boggling. The software's suggested were user friendly & come under the section of 'Time complexity', from learning to convert MOL file to PDB file to view everything in Chimera, the experience was fantastic. Thank you so much :)

It was gud bt yr the last topics were covered in hurry due to lack of timing, i m not say that the faculty has not taught us gud bt faculty wouldn't be able to do anything if this much short period is provided to him, so acc to my perception wrkshop should be conducted for at least 3 days, bt in over all experience it ws gud.
